Temple was beautiful!! Rained right when we were inside but not before or after! We went without tickets. Tav did not want to change into nice clothes to go! He also had a minor freak out about putting on booties so we tried to make them seem really cool. A lot of walking! Tav talked about all the sparkly chandeliers. He also didn't like walking so much and wanted to be held. Made me thankful for my family sealed in the temple.

Tavvinisms
I follow a blog where this mom posts all the cute things her kids say and calls them "isms". I've been meaning to do it for a while because Tavvin says THE funniest things.
One day he woke up from his nap, came out and yelled downstairs "I'm ok!!"
Instead of saying "You're" right now he says "Ur" and it's really cute. We're trying to correct him but I really like it!
He loves to sing and usually does that when he gets bored. At night he'll sing himself to sleep and he'll do it in the car sometimes. They're often made up songs about what he's seeing while he sings haha.
He'll sneeze snot everywhere and yell "tissue!!!" Or more recently just say, "Mommy, LOOK!"
Sometimes he'll just look at me when I talk and roll his eyes all dramatically like such a teenager haha.
He is so good at making Shad and I laugh and he does constantly. I seriously love the kid!!
Harlow Nine Months
Oh our Harlow Lo Lo Lo-ie sister babe. You add so much cuteness and joy to our family. You are so silly and so funny you make me laugh and smile every day. You have gotten SO mobile and active this month! You are crawling and pulling yourself up onto everything. You have this big contagious smile. You make a lot of silly faces and noises and it's so funny. You love mommy and I love you right back! I love when you give me snuggles! I love you you panic as soon as you see your bottle or food because we can't get it to you fast enough. I love you you love and cuddle your lambies. I sort of don't love that you hate to get dressed or get your diaper changed! You are so beautiful and people tell me that everywhere we go. You are super shy around new people or strangers and you get really serious and sometimes press your face into my shoulder. It is seriously the cutest. I'm tickled to be that comfort for you. You really want to walk and when you're crawling you'll get up tall on one knee and look around for us to acknowledge how cool you are :). We love you so much Lo Lo girl!!

Having Two Kids..
I feel like I'm the future it would be fun to reflect on what it was like to be mom of a 2 1/2 year old and an 8 month old. I feel like when Harlow was born til like honestly maybe 4-6 months was a major adjustment period. I mean I always seem to struggle more when I'm nursing (I stopped at around 5 1/2 months) but it just took me a while to get used to Harlow and figure her out. And figure out the dynamic of the two of them. Not to mention Harlow has gotten a lot easier as she's gotten older. Tavvin was jealous of Lo for a long time but he really loves her now (he still has his moments). But I feel like over the past couple of months we've really gotten into a good rhythm and routine. It's definitely not easy, but I've adjusted pretty well. Going out is twice the work with two so I just have to mentally prepare myself when we go anywhere. I'm now used to disaster/crisis situations and usually prepared to handle them. Harlow had a lot of blowouts in her first 6 months so I learned to just always have extra clothes in the bag. She also will only take really warm bottles so I try to pack hot water or have to try and get some wherever we go.
With the challenges has come a lot of joy. I just adore Harlow and Tav and it's fun watching them interact.
