Christmas Spirit
It is now December and we've really gotten into the Christmas spirit. How exciting it is to have our first Christmas season as newlyweds! We finally used our pharmacy wedding money from Blanding, and it really came in handy because we got some new christmas decor! Yippee!
It took quite a long time to pick out what we wanted most, who knew the Blanding pharmacy would have so many cute things! We decided the Wisemen sign and little jingle bell tree fit best in our house.
Is Shad about to attack me? We love our sparkly "Christmas" blocks :)
This picture isn't showing a lot of color, but we decided to do a gold tree. We had a lot of fun putting this up and it really makes our house feel more like Christmas!
We are super excited for all of the time we get to spend with each other and with family this season! I am most definitely excited to be finished with this semester and start fresh new classes again. I get to get into my interior design classes next semester! Shad is looking forward to having some time off work to spend time with family in Blanding, Ogden, and possibly St. George too. After that we get to spend a few days watching cute nephews Christian and Mason while Brek and Troy have some fun in the sun! Here we come December!

Just Lately
Well I'm not very good at blogging, turns out, but I feel bad about it so I'll get on and share some of the latest (for any of you who might actually be following the blog). We've been spending a lot of time with siblings, and we love it. It's really nice to have family that lives close by and is so close in age.
On Monday, we had a joint FHE with Amanda, Cody, Lant, Amy, Haven, Joe, Carter the penguin and Trey the monkey. We all carved pumpkins for Halloween. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday we had a dinner at Cody and Amanda's to sort of celebrate Shad's birthday. Amanda made Shad funfetti cupcakes-his favorite.
Last Friday night we had a little surprise party for Shad. Despite only a few attendees, we had a lot of fun! He's one year older and wiser too.
Oh! and a few weeks ago we went to Ogden to get my car fixed, celebrate my Dad's birthday, and go see Thriller! We loved it, especially the scary zombie dancers that stalk the audience.
Other than that it's been mostly life as usual. I'm excited to be more than halfway through the semester! I love when school goes by fast! And Shad is doing better and better everyday with his job. I still don't have a job, big surprise, haha. But I may be applying for Buckle, a nice tip that Amanda gave to me.
Anyways, we are very happy and life is good! Lets hope I get better at taking pictures and we'll get some posted soon!

(gunless) Elk Hunting
We headed down to Blanding least weekend, but from there we headed up to Elk Ridge (I think that's the name?) to go get up close and personal with some elk. Mama and Papa Webb got there first and had their nice trailer, a tent, and the rest of "Cody's Coral" ready for us. Cordell Black went up too to lead us to the Elk. Shad, our friend Brandon, and I all drove from Orem. Anyway, I loved it. It was so nice to get up in the mountains for awhile and enjoy the beautiful fall colors! Chris and Stacey kept us very well fed and Cordell found us some huge bucks! Here are a few pictures of our little weekend getaway... Oh, and I seem to have difficulty getting pictures of things anymore, so most of these are of the last day... but they still give the general picture!

We developed another camera from the honeymoon, this time our underwater camera. So here are a few more pics from Cancun! Since the honeymoon, we've been hanging out with family, getting our house put together, and enjoying each other's company. Last weekend we got some sun at 7 Peaks in Provo and hung out with our friend Brandon. On Sunday we had a birthday dinner party for my favoritest little brother Conner and it was very fun to have my family all together! I'm getting excited to go back to school next monday so that my days will be a little busier, but I guess I better be careful what I wish for!

From top to bottom-Brooke sunbathing on the beach on the island, Isla Mujeres; Shad striking a pose while we parasailed along the Cancun coast; Shad and Brooke in front of the Mayan Ruins at Tulum; Shad and Brooke at their special "honeymooners dinner." These are all pictures from our fabulous honeymoon trip to Cancun! We also swam with dolphins, played at a water park, snorkeled in a lagoon and along a reef, went on a jungle zipline, did plenty of sunbathing, and drank lots of virgin pina coladas! We were treated like King and Queen all week and we absolutely loved it! What a paradisical way to begin life together!

First Post
Well here we are! The newest Webb couple (not for long) now has a blog! Married life is going great! Shad is at work, like he is every day, and I'm still sitting at home waiting for the job I want and school to start... The little apartment is turning out awesome! We finally have everything moved in and nearly everything hung up on the walls. I love our new house, I love my new family, and I love love love my new husband!
