She weighs about 18 lbs. and is about 28 inches long. She currently wears 12 month clothes, but will probably be in 18 month in the next month or two.
She says "mama" "dada" and "hi". She makes attemps at a lot of other words, but those are her solid ones at the moment.
She is very feisty and will definitely let you know if she's not happy! She is a very loud squawker and squealer and screamer! She will also slap, shake her head, or pull on your hair. Little spitfire.
She crawls super fast, and can balance standing up, but refuses to walk! We know she absolutely could, but she is waiting until she wants to. She'll only do what she wants, when she wants to do it!
She has gotten more snuggly in recent months and we love love love it!
She loves her "lamby" stuffed animal and will get a huge grin on her face when you give it to her, then yell "HI!" very animatedly with a huge grin on her face.
She loves fruit, but is very fickle about most food. Again, she will only eat what she wants when she wants it. If she tastes something she doesn't like she'll spit it out immediately and use her hand to try and scrape every last crumb from her mouth. And then she will through every piece of what's left on her tray onto the floor.
She loves to dance and has recently started doing this spinning move that it hilarious. She gets a big grin on her face and starts bobbing when she hears music.
She absolutely hates getting dressed and getting her diaper changed. She will wriggle and squirm and scream. I have to pin her down. Its insane.
She loves the shower and the bath as well as the pool and splash pad.
This last month she has discovered she can point at things to communicate. She now loves to point at everything and have you walk her over to it so she can tell you all about it with a very pleased look on her face.
She hates being in the carseat for very long, and if she's in there long enough being unhappy, she will just cry at the top of her lungs until you get her out. Road trips are a real treat :).
She doesn't nap very well and I have a hard time planning anything around her naps because we can't seem to get a great routine down. She almost always takes an afternoon nap (unpredictable how long) and sometimes takes a morning nap.
She loves to climb things. She climbs to the top of the stairs and yells through the railing all the time. She also likes to climb on top of Tav's step stools and just sits there looking super pleased.
She's pretty good at entertaining herself without my help. This is a novelty because Tavvin still doesn't do this very well.
About every day Shad and I comment about how darn cute she is. We just can't get enough of her sweet and sassy adorable self. I can't wait to watch her continue to grow! Love you Lo!!
